[About Craft ×Tech]

Craft x Tech is an experimental and artistic project that explores how aesthetic sensibilities embedded in Japanese craft can be reimagined through a thoughtful and skillful creative process--where "craft" and "tech" engage in a meaningful dialogue.
Following the first edition, Craft x Tech Tohoku Project (2024), Craft x Tech launches its second chapter, Craft x Tech Tokai Project, bringing together six traditional craft producers from six craft regions across three Tokai prefectures and internationally active creators. The resulting new works will be unveiled ahead of their global debut at the Craft x Tech Tokai Project 2026 Tokyo Exhibition, held from Saturday, May 30 to Tuesday, June 2 at kudan house, located near this hotel.
