About Y. & SONS
Established in 2015 with the concept of a "kimono tailor," Y. & SONS blends tradition with innovation, offering a fresh take on Japanese attire. Through collaborations with artisans and brands both in Japan and abroad, we explore new possibilities in kimono styling.
Our mission is to make kimono a part of everyday fashion -- not as something exclusive or bound by nationality or occasion, but as a versatile garment that fits naturally into the modern urban landscape.
We also place great emphasis on creating and curating hats, shoes, bags, coats, and other style elements that pair seamlessly with kimono, allowing for diverse and unconventional styling options not typically seen in traditional Japanese dress.
